This difficult economy has affected all of us in one way or another. While we need a steady income to survive financially, we also need each other to survive emotionally. Our need to survive emotionally is best met when we treat each another with kindness and respect. Why? Because when someone is kind and respectful toward us, we suddenly feel visible. We deserve to be here and their kindness validates our presence -- which in turn, inspires us to give back or pay it forward.
Life is a circle. What we give to others is returned to us. It is the cycle of life--the golden rule. Decide to treat each other with kindness and respect, regardless of gender, age or occupation.
Take the time to sincerely appreciate another’s efforts. Tell someone when they've made your life a little easier. Do something kind for someone who isn't expecting it. Say something to someone that only you can say. Be the best you that you can be. You can help another survive, just by sharing your love. What are you waiting for?
May you always grow in the ways of love,
