Site Map and Navigational Hints

This site contains a number of different ways to navigate to content and articles.

The blue buttons on the left hand portion of the page are the primary means of navigating to specific sections.  By clicking on one of the blue buttons, and then clicking on the subtopic, you will be taken to the articles and content pertaining to that section.

Once a subcontent page has been opened (such as Grandparenting in the Grandparenting & Family section), there is usually a summary of comments included in the main text in the middle of the page.  Above this text box is our Featured Stories box.

To read one of the featured stories, simple click the red Read button, and the story will appear in the main text box.   When you're done with reading the story, you can scroll through the featured story box to select another story to read, or you can go to another section of the site.  If you want to return to the main page for a section, simply click on the main story box tab in the middle of the page (such as where the tab reads Family & Grandparenting), and you'll return to the main page of that section.

In order to easily navigate to some of the more popular articles, we have included a list under the green Featured Content tab at the top of the page.   If you would like to go directly to one of these articles, such as Dear Abby, please click on the Featured Content tab, scroll down to the particular article, and then click on it.

By signing up as a member, most of the articles on the site have a save feature, which will allow you to save the article for later reading.   Please note that some of out license agreements with our content providers do not allow for articles to be saved indefinetely.  If you find that an article you saved is no longer in your "saved articles" folder, it has most likely been removed for the foregoing reason.
